photoshop cs3 loads but there's nothing there

can anyone help?  this just started happening the other day.  i can open photoshop cs3 but that's about it.  not sure if it's a memory thing b/c i can't get in to preferences.  any suggestions?  dying over here.

i've tried everything - and still nothing.  wondering if it's a memory issue but not sure how to tell.  this started happening when i installed the photoshop on creative cloud a couple weeks ago to try it out.  i didn't love it so uninstalled it but ever since my photoshop cs3 won't work.

Could you please reset Photoshop preferences to default if you haven't yet? Refer Preferences in Photoshop

Also, if you need to reinstall CS3, your original version and serial number will not work
