Playing Flash Videos

Every time I try to watch a flash video, I get a message to install the latest version.  I had the latest version 11.7.700.169.  So I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, hoping this would solve the problem.  Well it did not.  Now when I look at the control panel uninstall program list, only the ActiveX shows up.  What happened to Flash Player?  It said it was installed successfully!

What is your browser?  If Internet Explorer check

If you use another browser like Firefox, you will need to install the plugin separately.

Thanks Pat, the unchecking ActiveX fixed the problem.
