In preferences, I have "Update links when moving files" set to Prompt. I have tried all kinds of things including uninstalling and reinstalling and it just don't work for me. It does not prompt or update any links in any related files. Any suggestions?

If the same links are prompting correctly in other installations of DW when changed, I'd probably try clearing the program cache, restoring preferences, and if all else fails, running the Cleaner Tool and reinstalling...

Deleting a corrupted cache file

Unusual behavior in Dreamweaver? Try restoring preferences.

Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Are you working from a Defined Site?

Are you using site root relative links, document relative links or absolute paths?

Do you have any structural errors in your html?

It is a Defined Site and there are not any structural errors in the site. The links, we have a mix .. this is a big website migrated from an old site (on going project to standardize). Some are relative links and some are absolute paths.

We have other members of our web team that it works fine for so I am sure the problem is something with MY setup and not the site itself.
